Stephen M. Thompson is a Florida Licensed Massage Therapist who graduated from the COMTA accredited, Educating Hands School of Massage, in Miami, Florida. He is a Professional Member of American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and Florida State Massage Therapy Association (FSMTA). He is the FSMTA Sports Massage Team Chairman for Central Florida.
Stephen was on the Sports Massage Team with the Orlando Apollos, a franchise of the Alliance of American Football. He volunteered at the University of Central Florida (UCF) Athletic Training Room providing massage for Division 1 student athletes and is a member of the UCF Knights Athletic Staff Massage Team.
His goal is to help his clients achieve optimal health and well-being through therapeutic massage. His approach is not only to temporarily relieve pain and discomfort, but also educate clients on becoming self-aware and walk alongside them as they implement changes that will help them achieve greater physical mobility and enhance their quality of life in the long-term.
On a personal note, Stephen is originally from the United Kingdom. His lifelong interest and practice in several Martial Arts disciplines led him to pursue advanced Muay Thai training in Thailand in 2006. It was there that he began to take an interest in Thai massage which is used to prepare fighters before their bouts. After a few years there, he traveled to the South Florida where he met his lovely wife Mimi and dedicated himself to becoming a massage therapist between Muay Thai training sessions.
